A firm of architects with a turnover of £250,000...On the day the ‘personal and business objectives’ produced some really interesting realisations. There were 3 directors, 2 of whom were full time and one part time. They had very different goals. John is in his 50’s and with 10 years to go to retirement
was looking to build his personal wealth to the maximum over this period. Helen
in her 60’s and working part-time was more interested in exiting the business.
Paul in his 30’s suddenly became very interested in succession planning.
However, with plenty to focus on in the way of expansion the session produced
clear and focused plans going forward. The lesson here is that Strategic Planning will help focus on key long term issues to the benefit of all. |
